LumaRidge Family is a privately managed Windows application under development for organizing authorized family information, including email, documents, records, appointments, and calendars.
The application is intended for personal and family use. It is not a publicly accessible repository of family records.

LumaRidge currently supports limited local Windows functionality, including reading selected files through existing authorized Google Drive desktop connections and maintaining certain local application records.
Direct Gmail API access, automatic Gmail monitoring, email drafting and sending, and AI-assisted Gmail processing are not yet operational in the installed application.
Creating this privacy policy or configuring Google's authorization settings does not give LumaRidge access to anyone's Gmail account.
Each account owner must authorize access before Gmail integration can operate.
LumaRidge's planned Gmail integration requests the following permissions:
Gmail Read-Only (gmail.readonly)
Allows the application, after authorization, to access messages, message headers, sender and recipient information, dates, attachments, and related mailbox information.
This access is intended to support incoming mail monitoring, document identification, record organization, and follow-up reminders.
Gmail Compose (gmail.compose)
Allows the application, after authorization, to create and manage Gmail drafts, include attachments, and send messages.
LumaRidge's intended operating rule is that outgoing messages require explicit approval before sending, including review of recipients, subject, message content, and attachments.
This approval safeguard is under development and must be tested before sending is enabled.
LumaRidge does not currently request general Gmail deletion or mailbox modification permissions. Additional permissions would require separate disclosure and authorization.
Each participating Google account must be authorized by its account owner.
When the integration is implemented and authorized, LumaRidge may:
Check permitted Gmail accounts for new messages.
Read and identify messages and attachments relevant to authorized family responsibilities.
Identify dates, deadlines, correspondence, and follow-up needs.
Associate information with appropriate family members, cases, or records.
Create source-linked reminders and proposed record entries.
Prepare draft replies with attachments.
Send approved messages through the authorized account.
LumaRidge is designed to distinguish original source information from reported claims, interpretations, and unverified conclusions.
Information from one person's account must not automatically become accessible to another person merely because they belong to the same family.
Authorized Gmail messages, attachments, and related information may be retained in several approved locations when necessary for the application's functions:
Google Drive: Original-content copies, attachments, or organized records may be saved to authorized Google Drive folders associated with the appropriate account or family records.
LumaRidge Vault: The application's governed record repository may retain authorized copies, extracted information, references, and supporting records.
Family records and Workbenches: Relevant information may be linked to the appropriate family member, case, chronology, or Workbench, subject to applicable permissions.
A stored record may consist of a preserved document, a managed copy, extracted information, or a reference to the original.
Original messages will remain in Gmail. The intended workflow preserves original documents and evidence, including available source identifiers, dates, attachments, and provenance. Record processing is not intended to alter or destroy original evidence.
Automatic Gmail-to-Drive filing and the full permission-controlled Vault workflow are still being developed and have not been verified as operational.
Access to Google Drive through the Gmail API is not assumed. Any additional Google Drive API permissions require their own appropriate authorization.
LumaRidge is designed to eventually use AI-assisted tools to help classify information, identify relevant dates and events, summarize authorized records, and prepare suggested actions.
Current status: The installed Windows application does not have operational AI workers processing Gmail through its own Gmail integration. No outside AI provider has been configured and verified to receive Gmail information automatically through that application.
LumaRidge's development may involve separately authorized tools such as ChatGPT. Information deliberately provided to those services is processed under their separate permissions and policies; those connections are not the same as LumaRidge's native Gmail authorization.
Before LumaRidge enables any future external AI service to process Gmail-derived information, the account owner must receive a clear disclosure identifying the provider, the information involved, the processing purpose, and applicable data-handling terms, and must authorize that use.
Sensitive content must not be transmitted automatically to an outside AI service without the required authorization.
Google user information will not be sold, used for advertising, or supplied for training general-purpose AI models.
Gmail-derived information is intended to be used only for authorized LumaRidge functions benefiting the consenting user.
Information may be stored using authorized Google services, including Google Drive, as described above.
Other external transfers will be limited to those permitted by Google's policies and authorized for the relevant application function, or those required for security or legal compliance.
LumaRidge does not sell Google user data to advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers.
Person-specific permissions and controlled sharing are required design safeguards. Full implementation and testing of these safeguards remain in progress.
LumaRidge is designed around local-first storage, preservation of originals, restricted access, and user-controlled authorization.
The planned Gmail integration includes secure credential storage, protected authorization tokens, account-specific permissions, and audit records of important actions.
These protections must be implemented and tested before live Gmail access is activated. This policy does not represent unfinished security features as already operational.
No software or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
When Gmail integration becomes operational, authorized information may be retained for the purposes described in this policy.
Records with continuing family, financial, legal, medical, or evidentiary significance may require longer retention under the applicable owner's approved records policy.
A universal automatic deletion schedule has not yet been implemented.
Account owners may request review or deletion of retained Gmail-derived information by contacting thelumaridge@gmail.com.
Deletion requests will be evaluated against applicable authorization, record ownership, preservation requirements, and legal obligations.
Revoking Google access does not automatically delete copies previously saved to Google Drive, the Vault, or authorized records. Those copies must be addressed separately.
Each account owner may revoke LumaRidge's Google authorization through their Google Account security settings.
Revocation stops continued access using the revoked authorization, although previously retained information may remain until separately deleted or otherwise handled under the applicable retention policy.
Future access would require renewed authorization.
LumaRidge's use of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data will be used only for appropriately authorized, user-benefiting application functions disclosed in this policy.
The application will not use Google user data for advertising, sale to third parties, unauthorized surveillance, or unrelated purposes.

This public website provides information about LumaRidge Family and its privacy practices.
It does not provide public access to family records or independently authorize access to Gmail.
Google Sites, which hosts this information page, may process website visitor information under Google's own applicable privacy terms.
This privacy policy may be updated as LumaRidge's functionality develops.
Material changes involving Google data access, external processing, sharing, or new uses of information will be disclosed before those changes are enabled, and additional consent will be obtained where required.
